i'm guessing the person who submitted the previous comment hasn't watched the actors in question performing ... or listened to their voices, but pushed an opinion based entirely on the photos shown
I saw The Sarah Conner Chronicles a while ago and was watching Alphas now. I was douping about seeing mr. Ellison (Richard T. Jones). So I totally agree!
I'm black and several years late commenting here, but was watching a TV show called Extant and thought the actor was Malik Yoba but was not sure. I googled "Malik Yoba look alike" and obviously these two great actors are mistaken quite often.
For someone who has been very much attracted to Malik Yoba in the past and who is also black, these two look very much alike, are similarly built (e.g. same height), and kinda sound alike! It is easy to get them mistaken even if you think you know them well. Just because someone says they can be each other's doppelganger does not mean they are identical in every sense, GOSH (for the ones saying they look "nothing" alike!! We are just saying they favor each other. I even googled "Malik Yoba vs Richard T. Jones" just to see if other people had the same thought, which brought me to this page!
I always mix them up. I wasn't sure of Richard's name so I googled Malik Yoba look alike. Maybe not right next to each other but they always remind be of each other.

They look nothing alike except they're both bald.

Yet I'm another black male that came across this site. And I often brag about my excellent knowledge of actors. I've been humbled today...
