They don't look anything alike.
Photopgraphs don't do their similarity justice. You have to see them in action - they have the same facial mannerisms, which really makes them seem alike. Compare a clip of Gale Harold in Queer as Folk with one of Nathan Fillian in Firefly.
I just saw/heard Gale Harold in "Defiance". I swear, he even SOUNDED like Nathan Fillion.
They don't resemble each other in the least respect.
