Flanigan is 6 feet tall. In Atlantis he wears kinda weird clothes which make him look smaller (for God knows what reason) like really low-belt pants with stuff in back-pockets lowering the butt line and a waist-narrowed shirt like 2 sizes short, and then a mostly "coolly bent" manner which shortens his neck, and you can see the difference on fancons vids on Youtube for example where he's upright. But if you pay attention even in the series, he's higher than anyone on Atlantis cast including David Hewlett who's 5'11" and except Jason Momoa who's like 6'5"
Well, I initially thought they don't really look alike, I mean manner makes all the difference. But then just saw a snippet from an old movie with Flanigan called "Family album" and hell indeed, the very young Flanigan looks a lot like the very young Alec Baldwin! But later they really make too different impressions.

I think Joe Flanigan looks more like Keanu Reeves. They have the same sort of facial structure.
